I'm a senior Computer Science student at Queens College, graduating in December 2025. I'm passionate about building real-world, scalable applications and enjoy turning complex problems into practical software solutions.
Currently, I'm a Product Engineer Intern at Allstate, where I contribute to full-stack projects using React and Spring Boot for the Shop and Buy experience on Allstate.com.
Previously, I led a team of 10+ interns as a Lead Software Engineer Intern at TheraMotive, building a company dashboard from the ground up with Next.js and MongoDB. That experience shaped my ability to lead, mentor, and build with purpose.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, playing basketball, and learning about cars.
I joined the Shop and Buy team at Allstate, where I contribute to full-stack development using React and Spring Boot. My work focuses on improving the customer journey during the online insurance purchase experience. I started by pair programming with senior developers, learning the systems and workflows. Over time, I transitioned to independently completing tickets and delivering production-level changes that added direct value to the organization.
I joined TheraMotive as a Lead Software Engineer Intern, where I organized a team of over ten interns and split the group into frontend and backend squads to build a full-stack internal dashboard using Next.js, React.js, and MongoDB. I architected core features such as real-time analytics, Google Workspace integrations, and a dynamic user calendar to streamline internal operations. In addition to writing production-ready code, I led code reviews, managed development timelines, and mentored junior team members across both squads. Throughout the internship, I guided the team from initial planning through successful delivery, ensuring we hit all key milestones.
I replaced a legacy service API responsible for JWT encryption & decryption by integrating the logic directly into the primary Spring Boot backend service. This removed the need for external API calls, improving authentication speed and reducing dependency on an external service whose downtime could disrupt the main application. I also created testable methods for token encoding and decoding, and validated functionality in staging and production using Postman.
I developed a new metric in our primary Spring Boot backend service to track stop page occurrences during the quote flow. The metric captures both business and technical stop page error codes and is viewable in Datadog, enabling business and engineering teams to identify approximately 200+ error events each month. By providing deeper visibility into where and why customers encounter stop pages, it delivered actionable insights that reduced quote flow drop-offs, improved platform reliability, and enhanced the overall customer experience.
I developed Spring Boot and React features to capture referral data when customers arrived at Allstate's quote flow from lead aggregators. This data was sent to business teams for attribution analysis, giving them the ability to pinpoint top-performing referral sources and detect underperforming channels. The resulting insights helped optimize marketing spend, strengthen vendor relationships, and refine acquisition strategies to drive higher-quality traffic and improve conversion outcomes.
This full-stack web dashboard was built to support healthcare data visualization and admin management. I worked across both the frontend and backend using Next.js, React, and MongoDB, implementing real-time metrics, calendar integrations, and user role management. I also integrated Clerk for authentication and helped ensure the platform handled role-based access and secure data rendering across views.
I built a LeBron-themed Discord bot using discord.py as a way to practice API integration and event-driven design in Python. The bot pulls motivational quotes from ZenQuotes and reaction GIFs from the Giphy API, responding to user commands in real-time. It's deployed across several servers and supports message-based interaction and command routing with clean, maintainable code.
Relevant coursework includes Object-Oriented Programming (Java and C++), Data Structures and Algorithms, Operating Systems, Web Development, Advanced Programming in Python, Database Systems, and Software Engineering.
A foundational certification covering core AWS services, security, cloud architecture principles, and pricing.
An 8-week course where I learned to build Android apps using Kotlin and Android Studio. I successfully earned a certificate of completion.
